Fiberon Decking Announces Top Three Winning Outdoor Living Space Designs from FiberPRO Photo Contest

New London, North Carolina (PRWEB) May 29, 2014

Building an outdoor living space that suits the exact needs of an individual requires critical thinking and creativity. The deck builders who employ Fiberons FiberPRO services understand how to exceed their clients standards and build outdoor living space masterpieces.

Judged by social media users, the three winners are Buz Gardiner of Gardiner Construction, Inc., Robert Shaw of Colorado Deck and Framing, and Ivana Biela of Echelon Custom Homes.

These three winning photos represent quality craftsmanship. Using durable, elegant, and environmentally friendly materials, these home improvement specialists have created remarkable decking products that are equally beautiful and functional.

In this way, the winners not only create quality work, but they also fulfill the unique needs of their clients. The third-place winner, for example, consists of a two-story design that promotes recreation and rest with a deck that enables swimming in the pool and reading on the balcony.

According to Fiberons Director of Marketing Communications, Edie Kello, all three winners embody the best parts of life.

Our first-place winner, Buz Gardiner, designed a rounded deck that creates a special space, conducive to both social get-togethers and alone time. Simply look at the design, and you can see yourself doing anything you want out there, a dance floor or a place for solitude or meditation. Thats what Fiberon FiberPROs create for their clients.

With the voting responsibility placed in Facebook and Twitter users hands, fans of Fiberon cast their ballots for a variety of reasons. From design elements to the inclusion of recreational accessories, the comments centered on any number of elements.

With this free-for-all voting approach, Fiberons VP of marketing, Shellie Sellards discusses how the FiberPRO Photo Contest ended up being a close call.

Just a few votes separated the three winners. Only 27 Facebook Likes came between the first- and second-place winners. It could have gone either way, especially since voters particularly enjoyed the high output fire pit centered in Robert Shaws creation. Even though it took second-place, this outdoor living space easily could have won first-place.

With National Enjoy Your Deck Day not far off on June 7, this photo contest should give more than a few ideas on how to celebrate. To find out more about this contest and the upcoming deck day celebration, visit Fiberons website at http://www.fiberondecking.com.

Texas Dock Owner Refurbishes Rotting Dock with AridDek Aluminum Decking by Wahoo Decks

Gainesville, GA (PRWEB) April 30, 2014

JM Martin Construction in Mabank, Texas, has been building, installing, and remodeling docks for 10 years. When a customer came to JM Martin Construction about refurbishing an 8 year old wooden dock, selecting AridDek Aluminum Decking for the walking surface was an easy choice because of its low-maintenance and durability.

Even after years of meticulous routine maintenance to a standard wooden dock by the owner, the decking surface still could not endure the aquatic surroundings.

Even with routine maintenance the wood on the dock did not withstand the marine environment, said Derek Holland of JM Martin Construction. Replacing the rotted wood on the dock with AridDek was a simple solution. The dock owner loves AridDek because of its low-maintenance qualities and durability.

AridDek Aluminum Decking creates a low-maintenance and highly durable walking surface on any dock. With AridDek Decking there is no time or money spent sanding, painting, staining, or sealing. AridDek reduces routine upkeep while also remaining dependable over time.

One of the many advantages of aluminum decking is its longevity. AridDek is impervious to insects, decay, rot, and will not rust or experience material degradation from weathering.

Whether it comes to building a dock or refurbishing an existing one, AridDek is a cost-effective answer to dock decking materials. AridDek Aluminum Decking provides dock owners with a low-maintenance and durable aluminum dock walking surface which makes it ideal for marine and boat dock applications.

AridDek Aluminum Decking Selected by JM Martin Construction for its Waterproof Capabilities, Low-Maintenance, and Long Life Span

Gainesville, GA (PRWEB) April 17, 2014

Just Southeast of Dallas in Mabank, Texas, JM Martin Construction has been building, installing, and repairing/remodeling docks and marinas for 10 years. For this project, JM Martin Construction chose AridDek for its waterproof solution, low-maintenance, and durability.

Derek Holland of JM Martin Construction said, We love AridDek for its easy installation and the fact that the interlocking panels waterproof the deck below.

AridDeks innovative tongue-and-groove design creates a seamless, single layer surface from an integrated, hidden gutter system that channels water away from the structure. Because of this docking companies, such as JM Martin Construction, have been able to create and install finished wood ceilings without the need of extra layers of flashings and sealants.

In addition to simplified installation of finished wood ceilings for docks, AridDek customers are happy with the long lasting result of their docks. Our customers love AridDek for its low-maintenance and its long life span, says Holland.

For around the same price as a higher-end composite deck board AridDek provides dock owners with a low-maintenance aluminum walking surface that will not rust, warp, or decay over time.
